Yesterday, Grazia magazine exclusively announced that Erin O’Connor is the new face of Radley’s AW 2013 campaign and today Radley have confirmed this.

This announcement is a lead up to a new print campaign running from 1st September, so check out the glossy mags with the Sunday papers Radley fans!
Founder of Radley, Lowell Harder comments,
“We are thrilled to announce Erin O’Connor as the face of our AW13 collection and campaign. Erin seemed such a natural choice for Radley – I especially love her inherent wit and charm and the way this comes through in her modelling and editorial photography. She’s also incredibly beautiful, with such a strong unique look, which we felt was a great fit with the Radley brand and the style-led direction the collections are taking now. More than this though, Erin’s strength and determination to challenge preconceived ideas and make positive change are undeniably inspiring, and we hope this will appeal to our customers too”.
Erin has been modelling since 1996 and has had a very distinguished career, appearing on the cover of many magazines, and being the face for many brands. She’s also appeared on the catwalk for most of the major designers.
“She isn’t only a model,” Jean Paul Gaultier famously raved, “she is quite art. She is like theatre. She is extraordinary inspiration.”
Exciting news for Radley Fans we think, since the previous campaign we would compare this to would be Truly Radley Deeply, and we loved that.

Radley fans and collectors are from all walks of life. Even though Radley bags and accessories are high quality and of fantastic craftsmanship, they still cater for all budgets when buying on the high street. So moving slightly away from the Gorgeous Erin and her silhouette strong figure that will be perfect for the Radley collaboration, lets look at Erin on a more personnel down to earth note that many Radley fans will relate to.
Erin O’Connor was born in 1978 in Walsall. She first modeled for Juergen Teller in a 1996 issue of i-D and went on to model for top luxury brands including Chanel and Versace.
Despite being mocked at school for being too tall and skinny, she became one of the leading models the UK and around the world.
“If I’m going to be successful” she famously said, “I’m going to be successful as me”.
We are guessing that its the above attitude that attracted Radley when deciding who to join forces with for this media campaign.
